41-year-old Rob Boughey, founder and director of haulage firm Boughey Ltd, is being mourned by his colleagues in the haulage industry following a fatal crash on the B4040 between Charlton and Minety.
He has now been named locally as Rob as haulage firms from around Wiltshire and the southwest pay tribute to a “genuinely nice bloke.”
Many others in the haulage industry have also paid tribute to Rob and said they will remember him as a “good friend.”
“RIP Rob Boughey, keep on trucking up there, you will truly be missed, love to your family at this hard time.”
Police closed the B4040 in between Charlton and Minety for several hours after the crash while specialist crash investigators carried out enquiries.
