Firefighters from across North Wiltshire were deployed to an incident on New Road in Chiseldon, just south of junction 15 of the M4, on Saturday, August 8. Crews found that two homes, a shed, trees and an electricity pole were all alight when they arrived shortly after 4pm. Six pumping appliances and an aerial ladder were sent to battle the fire using main lines and hose reel jets.
