Special Ed mentors nine Brooklyn fellows in a new Hip-Hop and STEAM program merging MCing, beatmaking, and clean energy careers through Power the Future.
Special Ed is stepping into the mentor role for a new workforce development program that’s merging Hip-Hop culture with STEAM education in Brooklyn.
The partnership between HHEC and National Grid started in August 2025 with MC Lyte discussing how artistry engages young people.
