Firefighters were called to the scene in Horsefair, Boroughbridge, at about 10.45pm on Saturday (August 8). North Yorkshire fire and Rescue Service said a Land Rover Defender overturned after the crash with the driver and passenger out of the vehicle when its crews arrived. The driver was unharmed and the passenger was checked by the crews, the fire service said. A service spokesperson said the Land Rover “clipped” a “number of parked vehicles” when it crashed. They said the firefighters made the Land Rover and scene safe after the collision.
