Four fire engines from Bolton Central, Bolton North, and Farnworth responded to reports of a fire in Rawson Road, Halliwell. The four individuals were treated at the scene and then taken into the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS). "Four people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and taken into the care of North West Ambulance Service. “Crews were in attendance for around one hour and 20 minutes, and worked with colleagues at Greater Manchester Police to make the area safe.” The fire service worked alongside Greater Manchester Police (GMP) to ensure the area was safe.
