The team members from Court Thorn Surgery, High Hesket, Rachel Walker, Kelly, and Craig Lapka, are taking part in a tandem skydive on August 30 to raise funds for an Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) machine. The diagnostic device assesses blood flow in the legs and helps identify Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), a serious circulatory condition that often goes undetected. The ABPI machine offers a simple, non-invasive test by comparing blood pressure in the arms and ankles to identify circulation issues. The fundraising team is appealing to patients, residents, and businesses in the community for support.
