A 65-year-old Scottish walker has ended his journey in Nairn after becoming the first person to walk the proposed Slow Ways National Parks Trail. Mr Scott believes the National Parks Trail has something many long-distance routes lack: a clear national purpose. Dan Raven-Ellison, founder of Slow Ways, added: “The Slow Ways National Parks Trail is a truly inspiring proposition. It connects all 15 of our incredible National Parks, the world’s first National Park City, multiple counties and national landscapes, and three nations. What if we had a new national trail connecting all of the UK’s National Parks?
