Sagaanan Suntharalingam, 23, has been charged with causing death by careless driving, causing death by driving a vehicle while uninsured, and perverting the course of justice. Suntharalingam appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Friday (August 7) for a plea hearing in connection with the fatal crash. Appearing alongside him in court were Melvin Arulanandam, 24, from Sutton, and Pratheep Sukumar, also 24, from Romford, who have both been charged with perverting the course of justice. Suntharalingam, from Dunstable, denied causing death by careless driving but admitted causing death while driving a vehicle which was uninsured. Arulanandam admitted perverting the course of justice but Sukumar pleaded not guilty to the offence.
