The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of burglary. It followed an incident at about 2.25am on January 20 when police were called after the ATM was ripped from the Tesco Express store in The Square, Thorpe Marriott. The spokesman confirmed he would "face no further action" and said, "investigations are ongoing" into the ram raid. The JCB was left in the car park of the store following the raid, which left the store severely damaged and having to remain closed in the immediate aftermath.
