A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and dangerous driving after three pedestrians were hit by a car following reports of a disturbance. The incident happened on Stokes Croft in Bristol at about 06:30 BST, according to Avon and Somerset Police. A man police believe to be the car's driver was treated for facial injuries after his arrest. Thomas Street, Hepburn Road, Stokes Croft and City Road are all closed while police make enquiries, with more officers than usual in the area as investigations continue. The Best Off Licence in Stokes Croft was also damaged in the incident.
