Shaun Maloney will be leading Celtic from the Rugby Park dugout against Kilmarnock on Sunday. That’s because Martin O’Neill is currently recovering after undergoing a ‘small procedure’ in hospital, but it still hasn’t stopped him from trying to push Celtic towards another three points. Just before Celtic’s clash at Killie, Maloney told BBC Radio Scotland that O’Neill ‘spoke to the players’ from the team hotel. Either way, O’Neill’s influence on this Celtic team is beyond huge. That was proven last season when the Hoops won the domestic double amid the chaos of the whole campaign.
