A Bellwood man has been charged with murder in connection with a July shooting on Chicago’s West Side. Lavonne Glenn, 32, a resident of the 400 block of 47th Street, is also charged with aggravated assault/discharge of a firearm from a motor vehicle in the incident. Members of the Chicago Police Department’s Area 4 Homicide Investigation Support Team arrested Glenn on Wednesday on the 10400 block of West Zemke Road. Police said he was identified as the offender who, on July 5, fatally shot a 31-year-old man on the 600 block of North Latrobe Avenue in the city’s Austin neighborhood. Glenn was placed into custody without incident and charged.
