Hundreds of cars and bikes to gather for memorial meet for motor lover

For five years, Steve's Breakfast Club's informal breakfast car meets at North Weald Airfield have brought together hundreds of motorists for a relaxed morning of motoring appreciation, bacon rolls and community spirit.
So we decided after talking to the family that we would do a memorial meet in his name to raise money for a charity that he supported.
The North Weald car meets have become a staple of the regional motoring calendar, regularly attracting hundreds of vehicles with a record turnout of around 2,500 cars.
I’ve loved cars since I was a lad, and just like to see the sense of family that’s all around the car scene.”
The Julian Watkiss memorial meet will be held on Sunday, August 23, at North Weald air base from 9am to 2pm.
