TODAY: I'm tracking isolated to scattered chances for showers and storms throughout the morning hours, mainly along and north of I-70, as temperatures begin in the low 70s. TONIGHT: I'm tracking another chance for isolated to scattered showers and storms overnight leading up to Monday morning. EXTENDED: I'm tracking more extreme heat on the way, as by Monday afternoon, temperatures once again warm into the mid-90s, and heat index values climb back to around 105-110 across Mid-Missouri. Tuesday night into Wednesday, I'm tracking a gradual increase in chances for showers and storms across Central Missouri. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, better chances of showers and storms arrive, and with that, relief from the heat can be expected.
