Thunderstorms, flash flood risk forecast across parts of Kingdom as temperatures hit 47°C

Thunderstorms accompanied by hail are expected over parts of the Kingdom on Sunday, while temperatures are forecast to reach up to 47°C in some areas, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM).
As for the NCM’s rain forecast, thunderstorms accompanied by hail are expected over parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah.
For individual areas, Riyadh is forecast to be partly cloudy to cloudy, while Makkah, Jeddah, and Buraidah are expected to be partly cloudy.
Hail is forecast to be partly cloudy with active winds, while Najran is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with active winds.
Abha is forecast to experience thunderstorms, active winds and fog, while Al-Baha is expected to see thunderstorms accompanied by active winds.
