JK Police Launch Major Crackdown on Jamaat-e-Islami Network, Raids 26 Places in Sopore Under UAPA ProbeJammu and Kashmir Police conducted raids at 26 locations in Sopore against the banned Jamaat-e-Islami network under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Security agencies have been monitoring alleged financial networks, logistical support systems and communication channels connected with organisations under investigation. The case involves charges under provisions related to unlawful activities, criminal conspiracy and other security-related offences.
