The Brewers announced that right-hander Bryse Wilson has been designated for assignment. Right-hander Lyon Richardson‘s contract has been selected from Triple-A Nashville to replace Wilson on both the 26-man and 40-man rosters. Assuming he clears waivers, Wilson could elect free agency and then quickly re-sign with the Brewers on a new contract, or he could just accept an outright assignment to Triple-A. Richardson is now set for his first big league action since signing a minors deal with the Brewers in June. The results have been only a little better in Nashville, as Richardson has a 4.20 ERA, 22K%, and 14.2BB% in 30 innings for the Brewers’ Triple-A affiliate.
