US Seeks Faster Weapons Production as Iran War Hits Munitions Stocks
['Iqtidar Gilani']

The Trump administration has sought increase in weapons production and early deliveries, particularly munitions that have become scarce amid the ongoing war with Iran.
Feinberg stated that the Pentagon could no longer rely on lengthy production timelines and called for for an immediate expansion of manufacturing capacity and faster programme schedules.
The move comes amid several reports warning that US military stockpiles of certain munitions are being depleted, with particular concern surrounding Patriot air-defence interceptors.
Despite these reports, President Trump claimed that the US military has substantial ammunition reserves.
In an earlier post on Truth Social, Trump said the army possessed “massive amounts” of munitions and claimed that significant quantities were being produced and made available whenever required.
