The farm in White Oak has now grown and harvested more than 60,000 pounds of fresh vegetables in 2026 — exceeding the goal it set for the entire year.
Rich Larochelle says the milestone belongs to the volunteers who show up every week and pitch in wherever they’re needed.
Their work is helping the farm fight hunger and food insecurity across the region.
Saturday’s harvest alone added more than 2,000 pounds to the total, including tomatoes, watermelon, peppers, cantaloupe, eggplant and zucchini.
All of it is headed to the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank.
