A new neighbourhood wine bar is hoping to become the southern suburbs’ favourite local hangout after officially opening its doors in the heart of Newlands Village, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Culture Newlands, the latest venture from Cape Town hospitality entrepreneurs Matt and Roxanne Manning, is offering residents more than just a place to enjoy a glass of wine.
While many Capetonians will already know Culture Wine Bar on Bree Street, the Newlands venue has been created with a very different audience in mind.
The food menu has also been built around classic wine bar favourites, featuring cheeses from the venue’s own fromagerie, Richard Bosman charcuterie, as well as a selection of pintxos and tapas inspired by neighbourhood wine bars around the world.
Located on Kildare Road, Culture Newlands has been designed to reflect the character of the surrounding suburb rather than simply extending the look of its Bree Street counterpart.
