Officials are getting back into the groove of things at Dallas City Hall. Some 296 positions were identified for elimination in the proposed budget. Back to School Fair Turns 30Dallas families descended on Fair Park on Friday for the 30th annual Mayor’s Back to School Fair, where thousands of students received free supplies and access to other resources ahead of the new school year. Participating organizations included Dallas ISD, Dallas College, UNT Dallas, SMU, Dallas Works, Communities Foundation of Texas, and Workforce Dallas, among others, along with dozens of sponsors. The Mayor’s Back to School Fair was held in Fair Park’s Centennial Hall and Automobile Building following an opening ceremony outside the Hall of State.
