Temperatures reached a record-breaking 36.9 degrees Celsius at the Observatory (HKO) headquarters on Sunday, as a heatwave influenced by Tropical Cyclone Dolphin continued to affect Hong Kong.
“High temperature weather is expected to continue midweek this week,” it added.
