Bersatu to take PN membership dispute to RoS

Two days ago, PAS claimed that Bersatu was no longer a PN component, stating that under the coalition’s constitution, any party that chooses to join or form another alliance would automatically lose its membership.
Bersatu information chief Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz accused PAS of repeatedly going against PN’s constitution and Supreme Council decisions, including denying the rights of Bersatu as a component party, Utusan Malaysia reported.
“The PAS president is able to do as he likes, even questioning and defying the PN Supreme Council’s decisions.
Two days ago, Hadi claimed that Bersatu was no longer a PN component as, under the PN constitution, any party that chooses to join or form another alliance would automatically lose its membership.
He cited Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin’s previous statement that the party would form a new coalition with several parties after the Negeri Sembilan state election.
