Kemaman district police chief Razi Rosli said the three men, aged between 19 and 28, were arrested after a report was lodged by a 20-year-old woman on Friday.
Razi said a video went viral on TikTok around 8.30pm yesterday, showing a crowd gathering in front of the Kampung Enjin Gergaji flats here following allegations of a sexual offence linked to the suspects.
He advised the public not to take hasty actions against Rohingya refugees that could lead to criminal acts.
