Lang8/9/26Construction work begins Monday on Highway 1 north of Iowa City. The Iowa Department of Transportation reports the work involves Highway 1 between Interstate 80 and Morse Road. The right lane will be closed northbound, and the left lane will be closed southbound starting Monday morning at 6. The lane closures should last through Thursday afternoon at about 4:00.
