Lang8/9/26A search warrant executed on an Iowa City residence reportedly turned up drugs and weapons. 33-year-old Corey Lindsey Jr. was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 4:00 Sunday morning. Iowa City Police say he was stopped on Mall Drive on March 2nd and was found in possession of a Smith & Wesson .40 caliber firearm. A search of Lindsey’s residence on the 900 block of North Dodge Street allegedly turned up 465 grams of marijuana, packaging materials, a scale, and a P80 9mm handgun. Lindsey has previous Johnson County felony convictions for 1st Degree Theft and Willful Injury, as well as a felony robbery conviction out of Indiana and a felony weapons conviction out of Cook County, Illinois.
