Milford House Care Home has launched the Veterans Brunch to offer a welcoming space for veterans to socialise and share experiences. Lorraine Mounter, activities coordinator at Milford House, said: "We are incredibly proud to launch our Veterans Brunch and look forward to welcoming veterans from across the community. The idea for the brunch came from a meeting with Chris Child, president of Salisbury Royal British Legion. Milford House has a long history of supporting veterans and the Royal British Legion, regularly taking part in Poppy Appeal fundraising and other Legion activities throughout the year. The care home hopes the brunch will bring veterans together in a relaxed and supportive setting.
