Highland cattle return to south Essex nature reserve as conservation work begins

The cows are once again grazing at Norsey Meadow in Billericay, where they play an important role in managing the landscape by controlling coarse grasses and scrub.
Basildon Council has welcomed the animals' return but is reminding visitors to respect the grazing area and avoid approaching or feeding the cattle.
