The disturbance took place on the High Street at around 11.40pm on Saturday, August 8. Emergency services attended the scene, and a significant presence was reported by residents who saw police and ambulance crews surrounding a man on the ground. A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called at 11.40pm on Saturday 8 August to reports of a disturbance at High Street, Maldon where three men were injured.
