Oldspeak Bookshop, in Long Melford, which styles itself as "Britain's only dissident bookshop" will move online a little more than a year after opening and hopes to move to a "more welcoming" physical location. Owner and founder of the bookstore, Joanne May announced the closure of the physical store on X over the weekend. The store will now sell online as they look to move into a new physical location (Image: Newsquest)"I am also searching for premises in a friendlier location. Plans were lodged for a bookshop and café to Babergh District Council in February last year, with Oldspeak opening its doors for the first time shortly after plans were approved.
