President Hakainde Hichilema has pledged to construct a state-of-the-art new district Hospital to cater for the growing population of LuwinguPresident Hichilema said plans are underway to improve the current state of the Luwingu district hospital to a much bigger and improved facility. The Head of State noted that government was aware that the current hospital is inadequate to meet the demand of the district. Mr Hichilema further pledged to rehabilitate the Luwingu -Nsombo road, Luwingu- Chaba-road and Luwingu- Kasama road. Other projects planned for in the district include expansion of the current skills center into a skills college. He said Government has more development planned for Luwingu district but the projects can only be implemented if the people vote for the vision carriers.
