Stanley will welcome the family-friendly event on Friday, August 14, promising street food, games, and live entertainment for all ages. Running from 3pm to 7.30pm on Front Street, the free carnival is designed to entertain children during the school holidays while bringing the community together. Organised by food market specialists Baccanalia, the event is part of Stanley’s bi-monthly street food market series and will feature over 20 street food traders, including Kolamba Newcastle serving Sri Lankan cuisine and Greek food from Acropolis. Ms Keen added: "The six-weeks school summer holidays can be challenging for families trying to keep the children busy and occupied throughout. The markets are part of Baccanalia’s Street Food Carousel, a county-wide programme that supports both established and emerging vendors.
