James Fishwick, 39, of North Road, Darlington, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on August 6. Fishwick changed his plea to guilty to theft from a shop, at Morrisons store in Darlington on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The court was told he stole Barbie-branded toys with a total value of £280. The court ordered Fishwick to pay £140 in compensation to Morrisons.
