The national Under-18 Hockey 5s head coach, Vincent Kasasa, is determined to correct the mistakes and strengthen his team ahead of future competitions. This follows Uganda’s male and female teams finishing at the bottom of the standings at the Hockey 5s Youth Africa Cup in Kenya. The tournament served as a qualifier for the Youth Hockey 5s World Cup. Both Ugandan teams suffered defeats against South Africa, Nigeria and hosts Kenya.
