At Victoria College (VC), the dual credit program works with nearly 30 local educational institutions to ensure all students have access to college classes while in high school. Dual credit courses have been offered at VC since the early 2000s after being established in Texas in 1995. Class credit from dual credit courses can be transferred to all public universities in the country and some private universities. At VC, over 100 dual credit courses are offered, and various programs allow them to meet students where they are. Victoria College specifically has a focus on getting people out of poverty, and we know that education and training can do that.”
