Lydia was born on October 13, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, to Mauricio S. Jauregui and Eva Gomez Jauregui. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dr. Jesse V. De Leon; daughters Kristina Collmar, Laura Spence (Charles), and Marcie De Leon; and her son Jesse Eric De Leon (Meredith). She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria Avelar, Refugio Jauregui, Simon Jauregui, Eva Galicia, Luis Jauregui, and Julia Margaret Cortez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, Mauricio S. Jauregui and Eva Gomez Jauregui; her brother, Adam Jauregui; and her sisters, Clotilde Hernandez, Dora Delgado, Margarita Avila, and Pauline Ruiz.
