The Daily Star
Cloudflare has recently announced Kitesurf, a new web browser built specifically for AI agents rather than human users.
According to the company, the browser is available now in beta through Cloudflare’s Browser Run service at no cost, subject to per-account limits.
It supports the Chrome DevTools Protocol, so existing automation tools and AI agents can use it with a simple parameter change.
A public playground with DevTools panels lets developers inspect page rendering, console messages, and resource usage.
Kitesurf is not yet suitable for video playback, WebGL, persistent sessions, or sites with bot-challenge protections; Cloudflare advises using its standard Chromium-based browser for those workloads.
