Is the command system intended to reflect the potential that we already possess and continue to develop? The Ukrainians are conducting intensive activities in the deep-operations area and are consequently establishing a deep-strike command and a joint rapid-reaction forces command. We began analysing what the future command system should look like in the context of deep strikes more than a year ago. Ukraine has given us time, and we must use it to prepare an optimum command system before a potential conflict begins. We nevertheless intend to implement the changes in an organised manner, while remembering one thing: the present command system works, albeit imperfectly.
