It’s a family notification policy, and it’s been a long time coming. In April, we talked about the need for this policy and it is a relief to see it come to fruition. If you get hurt, the people in charge need to call someone. Being able to choose who finds out you are sick or hurt could recognize important family connections. Family isn’t always close and is often complicated.
