Hina DurraniISLAMABAD, Aug 09 (APP):Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has so far cancelled allotments of 19 plots in sectors F-14 and F-15 after their owners failed to clear outstanding installments and dues despite being provided multiple opportunities since 2016. He said in the first phase, FGEHA cancelled allotments of six plots following recommendations of a special committee constituted on the directions of the Authority’s Executive Board. The committee reviewed relevant records, rules, regulations and legal requirements before recommending cancellation of the plots whose owners had failed to meet their financial obligations since 2016. In a subsequent action, the Authority cancelled allotments of 13 more plots after further scrutiny of records by the special committee and its recommendations against the defaulters. He added that the timely completion of the project and early handing over of plots to allottees remained among the Authority’s top priorities.
