ISLAMABAD, Aug 09 (APP): The OIC-COMSTECH-Revive Medical Technologies Industrial Internship Programme commenced here on Sunday, bringing together selected interns from Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Jordan, Nigeria and Pakistan for four weeks of industrial experience in the healthcare sector.
A welcome ceremony for the interns was held at Revive Medical Technologies, where the participants were introduced to the programme and its technical components.
The initiative is aimed at providing hands-on exposure to medical device development, biomaterials, healthcare technologies, research and development, quality assurance, testing, regulatory compliance and advanced manufacturing practices.
Revive Medical Technologies is Pakistan’s first private-sector manufacturer of cardiovascular life-supporting and intravascular medical devices licensed by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) and certified under the internationally recognised ISO 13485 quality management system.
The OIC-COMSTECH-Revive Medical Technologies Industrial Internship Programme forms part of COMSTECH’s broader efforts to strengthen industry-academia linkages, promote technology transfer and provide young professionals from OIC member states with practical experience in advanced scientific and technological sectors.
