Birchall Tea’s latest Great Taste Award brings its total haul to 101As National Tea Week gets under way, one British tea brand is celebrating a milestone that has survived more than a decade of changing tastes and drinking habits. Birchall Tea has won a 16th consecutive Great Taste Award for its Great Rift Tea, meaning the blend has now been recognised by the awards every year since 2010. The latest award takes Birchall’s total number of Great Taste Awards to 101. Since then, the company has maintained its record of annual recognition from the Great Taste Awards. Great Rift Tea is produced using leaves from Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, one of the country’s key tea-growing regions.
