A soldering iron can be used to break down threadlocker on individual screws without spreading the heat around too much. Enter Loctite Threadlocker. Using threadlocker, much like bedding a rifle, provides 100-percent contact between metal surfaces, whereas a typical nut and bolt assembly may have as little as 15-percent metal-to-metal contact.
