The fire in the area of Kanjina and Živašnica near Konjic is still active, but the situation at the fire site is significantly better than last night. Assistant Mayor in the Civil Protection and Fire Service of the City of Konjic Husein Hodžić said that during the morning, special attention was focused on the part of the fire site near the houses. “The situation is much better than this morning, especially in the part of the fire that was directly next to the houses. “We have no structures or houses at risk, but the fire is still active, especially in the area that is inaccessible,” said Hodžić. Firefighters and other competent services continue their activities at the fire site, and due to high temperatures and wind, the situation is still being closely monitored.
