New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary aspirant for the Asante Mampong Constituency, Beatrice Owarewa Siaw, popularly known as Nana Yaa, has reportedly died. A close source said Nana Yaa died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Nana Yaa was a prominent businesswoman, philanthropist and member of the NPP Council of Patrons. She had been actively campaigning for the party’s parliamentary ticket in Asante Mampong. The NPP and her family have not yet officially confirmed the reports of her death.
