As a three-sport athlete, she's constantly on the move, whether it's practicing for cross-country, softball, or basketball. She understood the rigors and hard work required to be successful, but she admittedly didn't care too much for it--starting out, at least. However, while breaching the state tournament felt good for the talented Benson, she's driven to accomplish the same feat once again. "I am working really hard to get back to the state tournament because I know what it takes to get there now." "It takes a lot of practice and hard work, but I am excited for each season that's coming up for me and my teams."
