Continuity is important when looking to expand upon recent success in sports, and the Neelyville Tigers baseball team is no exception. Neelyville finished 20-2 in the fall of 2025 and concluded the 2026 spring session with a 21-6-1 record. Under head coach Justin Smith, the Tigers reached the district finals in the spring and are seeking to build upon that finish with a strong fall. Dobbins and Hopkins were All-District players for the Tigers last spring due to their versatility and potency in the batter's box. "We want to win, and we want to develop a lot of guys through this fall," Smith said.
