Toronto: Canadian authorities have arrested Abdul Ghafoori, a 32-year-old man accused in the killing of his Indian-origin partner Himanshi Khurana, nearly seven months after the murder. Himanshi Khurana, 30, was found dead inside a residence in Toronto on December 20, 2025. The following morning, at around 6:30 am, police officers discovered Himanshi Khurana's body inside a residence in the same area. The Consulate General of India in Toronto also monitored the case and extended support to Himanshi Khurana's family.
