articleThe Brief Iranian leadership published a new list of its demands before Tehran would allow the Strait of Hormuz to open again.
The demands come with just over a week to go before the expiration of a 60-day window to iron out the details of the previous ceasefire agreement.
Iran stated that Tehran is close to working out an agreement with Oman to manage the Strait of Hormuz.
Also, the U.S. would need to pay for war damage suffered by Iran, lift sanctions, and "unconditionally" release frozen assets.
What's next:The U.S. did not immediately comment on the Iranian demands.
