J&K Police Attach Rs 69.82 Lakh Property In 2008 Terror Case

Police in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday attached a property worth nearly Rs 70 lakh in a terror-related case.
"Legal action has been taken in a 2008 militancy-linked case and property worth Rs 69.82 lakh was attached under court order," a police official said.
He said an arrest warrant has been obtained against another accused from an NIA Court in Sopore.
The attached property comprises 12 Kanal (1.5 acre) land belonging to accused Parvaiz Ahmad Famda, a resident of Kawhar Bala in Chandoosa area, the official said.
